Strategic Employment Solutions is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, but works with participants throughout the United States. We tailor the job search to the client, whether it’s part-time or full-time employment. Successful employment outcomes rely on honoring the participant’s choices, strengths, and employment parameters.

Marla
DIRECTOR
Marla serves as the Director of SESUSA LLC, where she leads with a passion for empowering individuals with disabilities. She oversees vocational adjustment training, job placement, career planning assessment, and supported employment services while actively networking with community organizations and businesses to expand opportunities for customers. Marla ensures the team embodies the mission, culture, and values of SESUSA LLC in their daily work.
With over 14 years of experience in Special Education and Transition Services, Marla has dedicated her career to helping individuals identify and achieve their career goals. She has a talent for understanding customers’ unique strengths and challenges, creating pathways to success that build independence and confidence. Her professional accomplishments include building a respected transition program within a public school district and fostering collaboration across school districts and organizations to benefit students with disabilities.
Outside of work, Marla enjoys music, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors. Guided by her faith and favorite Bible verse John 15:12, "Love one another as I have loved you," Marla finds joy in serving others with compassion. A proud Texas native, she is committed to helping clients transform their lives through meaningful employment.

Misty
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Misty is the Operations Manager at SESUSA LLC, a role that blends her leadership skills with her passion for empowering others. She oversees daily operations, collaborates across departments, and implements systems to improve efficiency and productivity. Misty is also a Job Placement Specialist, supporting customers as they develop job skills, secure employment, and achieve long-term success in the workplace.
With a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and over 20 years of experience, including 15 in leadership roles, Misty has a proven track record of advocating for individuals with diverse needs, including those with mental health challenges and backgrounds. She has a natural talent for understanding customers’ unique strengths and challenges, creating pathways to success that foster independence and confidence. Her expertise spans operations management, customer advocacy, and community engagement, ensuring efficient systems and meaningful support for customers and teams alike.
Outside of her professional life, Misty enjoys hiking, spending time with family and friends, and embracing life’s simple joys. Known for her dedication and ability to connect with others, Misty believes that everyone matters and can thrive when given the opportunity to succeed.

Michell
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Michell brings her expertise as the Assistant Director at SESUSA LLC, where she supports customers and Job Skill Trainers alike. Whether she’s helping customers find the right work experience sites, identifying employment opportunities, or providing hands-on support, Michell plays a vital role in ensuring customers are prepared for success. Her work in Work Experience Training helps transition customers into Supported Employment and Job Placement, making a lasting impact on their journeys.
With decades of experience as a Special Educator, Michell has taught life and vocational skills to high school students and was instrumental in creating a transition program for young adults within a public school district. She has a remarkable talent for understanding and connecting with individuals with disabilities, helping them realize their unique strengths and potential. Michell’s approach builds confidence and independence, creating opportunities for success that leave a lasting impression on her clients and their families.
When she’s not working, Michell loves attending concerts, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and gardening. Her passion for nature and adventure mirrors her enthusiasm for helping clients achieve their goals and reach new heights of independence.
